We already know that bikers do a lot for charity, and now it seems lots of towns are cottoning on to the power of the automotive enthusiasts spending power. drawing punters in from the out of town shopping areas.

Horsham is a nice typical English market town in Sussex. Each Easter they have an Italian festival with lots of supercars and Italian bikes mainly Ducati's . In 2017 they ran the first AmeriCARna with mainly cars and a few bikes around the market square.

For 2018 they have improved the event with even more bikes and cars, traders etc in the local park as well as the market square. Even the local shops were supporting the event with themed decoration.

Locally we are lucky enough to have some great bike builders with the likes of P and D customs, Public Enemy Customs and Beakys motorcycles amongst others and these were on display here. Despite it being a busy day for bike events locally there was a great turn out, even a few V8 bikes and some cool custom bikes and several local clubs.

To add to the entertainment there was American football, food and lots of music. the atmosphere is very, very relaxed and I met several people I haven't seen in year so spent ages chatting away in the glorious autumn sunshine.

a great way to spend a Sunday and from the bags I saw people carrying definitely boosting the economy.
